Analytics

We measure how the site is used so we know which pages help people and what to improve. We use two tools:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookie-less tool that counts page views and basic technical information (such as browser type and country-level location) in aggregate. It sets no cookies, doesn’t fingerprint your device and doesn’t build a profile of you. It runs for every visitor, whatever you choose below.
• Google Analytics 4 — a more detailed tool that helps us understand which content is useful and how people find the site. It runs only if you accept. Until then it loads in Google’s “consent mode”, which means it sets no cookies and receives only anonymous, aggregated signals.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies until you choose. If you accept, Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies (named _ga and _ga_<id>) that let it recognise a returning browser so visits aren’t double-counted. They hold a random identifier — never your name, email or anything you typed. If you reject, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set at all.

When you first arrive you’ll see a banner with an equal choice to Accept or Reject. You can change your mind at any time:

What we collect

• While browsing: aggregate usage measurement as described above. No accounts, no forms.
• If you email us: your email address and message, used only to reply to you. We don’t add you to lists or share your details with anyone.

Hosting

The site is served from infrastructure in the United Kingdom and delivered through Cloudflare’s network. Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and reliability, then rotated.
